FIRST CONTACT

After you reach to us thru message, email or phone call we scheduled a formal call to get to know your design needs, how we can best serve you and to schedule your in-home Design Consultation. We usually recommend you to have some images of spaces, furniture, and style that you like so we can process and discuss easily your ideas. If you prefer you can leave it all to us, we will guarantee your satisfaction.

DESIGN CONSULTATION

This is done at your space, where we review your input, discuss your vision for the space, decide on a general direction of style, identify your specific needs and your investment for the project.

SERVICES AGREEMENT & CONTRACT

Our Contracts & Agreement lets you know of our design services and packages available for your project.

SPACE SURVEYING

Appointment to measure, take pictures and notes of the space. We may also need to bring an engineer or a tradesman at this point or later in the process, to confirm a construction change or survey the space.

DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

With all information gathered, we will start developing your project, meeting your needs and investment amount. When necessary, we will present a preliminary design or elements to ensure that we are on the right track.

PRESENTATION

On itemized projects in this part of the process we will show you the results of our development process and if required we will do changes or to get the results you expect.
On design projects, you will see the 3D renderings of the space, touch and feel samples of the materials chosen and or see pictures of the furniture and key pieces that pull the whole design together. A job proposal with all the pricing for developing the design will also be presented to ensure we are on budget.

EXECUTION OF DESIGN PROJECTS

Our full service packages include project management where we get to work on all the custom ordering, arrange deliveries and schedule trades for the project timeline. This is all the behind the scenes work you hire us to do and you will be contacted with updates of the progress. All you have to now is relax and knowing that all it’s being taken care of.

INSTALLATION OF DESIGN PROJECTS

Every project is unique and can take as little as couple of weeks or as long as a year. While we will do all construction and install all the fixed fixtures first, we’ll also take a day or few for the installation of furnishings, rugs, draperies and accessories and take care of possible last-minute matters and changes for reveal day. 

REVEAL DAY

On this day, you will walk in to a completed project, professionally cleaned and accessorized, and you will get to enjoy it for many years to come!

PHLUO was formed by Interior Architect and Industrial Designer Germán Restrepo, with over 18 years of experience in the high end residential and commercial sector, He has worked with some of the most exclusive clientele in New York and South Florida area.Germán is best known for her engaging High End eye catching with a functional easy to maintain and time lasting design approach. Trained in Architecture and Industrial Design, Germán moved to New York to pursue his ambitions in Interior Architecture and Product Design. Colombian born and Raised with Spanish-Italian with a life of traveling and living around the world, experiencing different cultures, combined with a broad knowledge in fine arts, material textures and production processes have structured a signature style that is adaptable to different spaces, budgets and personality. After 18 years of working with interior and architectural design studios Phluo Design was born in NY and 7 years ago we moved our headquarters to South Florida, to provide a better more personalized experience, to people and other firms and professionals that need assistance with their own projects, either with itemized services or full project development, big or small, high end or low budget, we can provide you with a broad range of alternatives.
